Jazz is a self-taught mixed media artist with a prior 10 year career in video production and as a technical director. As of 2022, they primarily work with paint. Key themes in their art include mental health, ancestry, psychology, Buddhism, mindfulness, and nature. Jazz is also a poet, a massage therapist, and is in the beginning phases of writing a memoir about their life. Jazz is based in New Orleans with their partner and three cats.
