Hey there, it's Phi-LoSophie from NWLA! I've been a poetess since I was a kid, always scribbling down stories and short poems on a whim. But it was in my adult years that I decided to take this art seriously, all thanks to an unexpected performance. That moment ignited a fire inside me that just won't quit, you know? I'm fascinated by the words that the world throws my way, whether they come from random thoughts or real-life experiences. Connecting with my audience on a relatable level is everything to me. I feel like it's my mission to let people know, "Hey, I feel and think this way too! I love, I care, and I even get mad in this way too!" Through my art, I want to spread my testimony and help people heal, all while giving thanks to God for this incredible gift. My peers are constantly inspired by my unique perspective and the way I see the world. And even when I'm at work as a promotions assistant for our local radio stations in Shreveport/Bossier, I find myself mentally crafting poetry. It's always with me, no matter where I am. I hope my peers keep inviting others into my world, where everyone knows they'll find someone they can truly relate to.
