Paula O. Lockhart is a Louisville based performer and teaching artist who is passionate about igniting the fearless state of childlike play in everyone through theatre. Most recently she Assistant Directed The Secret Garden at Commonwealth Theatre Center. Originally from Saint Mary's, GA, she moved here to attend graduate school and upon graduation chose to make Louisville her artistic and physical home. Paula is a teaching artist with Commonwealth Theatre Center, performing with Blue Apple Outreach and teaching within the Walden Conservatory. Some of Paula’s acting roles include: Miss Leah from Flyin' West by Pearl Cleage, Eunice from A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, Pearl from Bowling for Beginners by Diana Grisanti, and Rose from Fences by August Wilson.
