Clare Hagan

Clare Hagan is a theater artist and educator from Louisville, Kentucky. She is a member of the Derby City Playwrights, and her works have been featured in staged readings and play festivals around Louisville. In the past, Clare has worked as an illustrator, poet, musician, and actor. They currently work as a Teaching Artist for Actors Theatre of Louisville, facilitating New Voices playwriting workshops, and as a Stage Manager for Kentucky Shakespeare. In Spring of 2019, Clare was drawn into the wonderful world of community-engaged theater when she stage managed and performed in Wendy’s Neverland, a radical interactive theater project which took place in three rural Kentucky nursing homes. She continues to work with community-engaged projects such as Looking for Lilith's Suffrage Project and Clear Creek Creative's Ezell: Ballad of a Land Man.
