Resident of Louisiana and Los Angeles, Benicia King walks the fine line in-between the commercial and fine art worlds, having studied both business and photography, therefore living in a duality. She has molded her photography experience working for event management, marketing, and entertainment companies while congruently participating in exhibitions including the 6th Louisiana Biennial, Many Rooms: The South Got Something to Say, & Welcome to the Afro-Future that focus on the contemporary, and broad narrative of the black experience.
