Hi! My name is Lydia. I'm a friendly ambivert from the east coast who found my way over to Shreveport through a series of adventures in my 20s and now I reside here working a full-time job while also working on myself as a human and artist. I ride a 650cc motorcycle named Sunset and my husband has the same model but newer and shinier. It's just one of the many things we do as besties. My furry son's name is Radar and he is 84 pounds of floof. I have several different hobbies including gaming, jogging, walking, music, plant care, sewing, collage-work, photography, videography, watercolor, acrylic painting, PC building, and food. Eating it, specifically.
Artist Statement: I create eclectic, expressive artwork that blends abstraction with realism, drawing inspiration from impressionism and the interplay of light and shadow. My work spans watercolor, acrylic, and digital media, often exploring bold contrasts and intricate details. Through my business Windy Bristles Creative, I craft unique, thoughtfully designed pieces—whether it's a tiny floral painting, a striking monochromatic illustration, or a vibrant mixed-media creation. My art is a reflection of movement, emotion, and spontaneity—just like the wind.
