After forty years of the “grind”, I retired. Now what? Perusing the internet one night I came across an article that claimed I could paint “just like Bob Ross”. So I spent a month in Florida becoming a Certified Bob Ross Instructor. Now, not only can I paint like Bob Ross but I can teach others the Joy of Painting. That was just the beginning. I started exploring other techniques and blossomed from there. At the start of the pandemic I noticed that art shows were curtailed, so I established a Facebook group Buy Local Art NW Louisiana so artists could show their works. The membership has grow to over 5000.
