Vincent is a trans artist whose work mainly focuses on self-portraits and identity while living in the religious South. Their work explores religious themes, childhood memories, and their queer identity while painting figuratively with oils on repurposed canvas, children's clothes, and layered transparent plastic sheets in an effort to turn away from the traditional canvas. He is also interested in the interaction between one's body and the self and would like to continue exploring what it means to be trans. Vincent earned their BFA at Louisiana State University. They intend to pursue an MFA and are interested in a higher education career. They have won awards in several international shows including, the “Irene Rosenzweig Biennial Juried Exhibition” and “Surreal Salon”.
