Originally from Central Louisiana, I've called New Orleans home since 1995. As a multidisciplinary artist, I enjoy the freedom of moving from one medium to another. I am a fine art printmaker, but these days I'm working primarily in mixed media painting and paper marbling, with an experimental curiosity for textiles and book arts. Creating art is my therapy. I never like to feel rushed to complete a piece or a collection. I consider my artistic process a meditation, a time for myself for introspection and working through mind traffic. My subject matter is secondary. The process becomes the art form: combining shapes and colors that help me express my inner thoughts and emotions.
