Awarded the Advanced "Photographer of the Year" by the Louisiana Photographic Society 2021. Rick is a judge for the Photographic Society of America's FB page. His eclectic eye and themes take him from the deep waters of Papua New Guinea to the delicate details of macro flowers to images influenced by Monet and Van Gogh. A fan of opera, he is the photographer for the world class Opera Louisiane located in Baton Rouge. His wandering eye believes as Thoreau once said, "It is not what you look at, but what you see".
