Sue Schleifer

As a writer, life and leadership coach and Zen practitioner, I examine how we communicate, make choices, live in each moment and confront social injustices. Knowing that everything is always changing, how do we live a life of peace, justice, and equanimity? I incorporate dreams, poetry, humor, mindfulness, music and movement in my work. I am the author of two books: Cultivating a Mindful Life and The Key to the Castle: Zen and Travel Stories of Trust, about internal and external journeys. I also write a monthly e-newsletter for my Life and Leadership Coaching business. My first play, Take Down The Letters, received an ArtSpark grant from the Acadiana Center for the Arts and was produced at Cite des Arts in Lafayette, LA and at InFringe Fest in New Orleans in 2018. What Matters is my second play. A third play, an adaptation, is on hold as the book which it is based upon has now been optioned. I have written for magazines and newspapers, grants, reports, and websites.
