Jimmie Ray Bryant II is a multimedia professional and musician based in Shreveport, LA, with a diverse background in radio, production, and arts management. A graduate of Bossier Parish Community College with an A.A.S. in Multimedia, Jimmie has built a career blending creative and technical expertise across various platforms. A lifelong musician, Jimmie has been performing since the age of nine. As one-half of the electro-rock fusion band Stonerpop, he has been writing, producing, and performing since 2015. Their record, Physical Business, earned a "Top Add" placement on the National College Chart in 2017. Before that, he performed with the rock band Prestor Jon, continuing his passion for music across genres. Jimmie’s experience in radio spans multiple roles, from producer and co-host of Strategies for Living with David McMillian at Townsquare Media (2021-2024) to producer of Queen Bee's Hot Wax and Memories (KJLO) in Monroe. He also worked as an on-air DJ at ULM’s KXUL and Centenary’s KSCL, further cementing his presence in Louisiana’s media landscape. Beyond broadcasting, Jimmie managed Tipitina’s Music Office Co-Op Monroe (2014-2017), providing resources and support for local musicians. His work there earned him recognition as a Monroe City “Top 40 Under 40” honoree in 2016. His dedication to community service was further recognized when he was named Louisiana Volunteer of the Year (Shrevecorps, 2019). Jimmie was also an LSHAA All-State Orchestra Viola Principal in 1999 and 2000. Whether in music, media, or community initiatives, he remains dedicated to pushing creative boundaries and supporting the arts.
