I am Melissa Sherman, a self-taught wildlife artist residing in Livingston, Louisiana. Louisiana’s wildlife is the focus of my work. From the region's low swamplands, bayous, creeks, woodlands, coastal marshlands, beaches and barrier islands, I never fail to find inspiration. I work in acrylic and watercolor and strive for photorealism.
