Originally from Iowa City, Iowa. I studied printmaking at the University of Iowa before moving to New Orleans in 2013. Since moving to Louisiana I’ve worked in the parade industry, commercial embroidery/screen printing and spent three years as an administrative member of the New Orleans Community Print Shop. I like to consider myself a Maker instead of an Artist. I get the most inspiration from the process of how something is made and experimenting with different processes to create something new. My work spans multiple mediums including: screening printing, drawing, sculpture, sewing and costume design.
