Hi y’all! I’m Denise “Songbird” Gaines born and raised in louisiana, a child of God.
I am a creative soul living in the wisdom of my elders and the passion that comes from child like wonder. Started out a singer from birth, with my first words being a Janet Jackson song. Singer at the youth national Guard convention presented by Mary Landrieu. I once sang for The Kingfish hockey games. I am a karaoke DJ for hire. I can paint faces and do makeup. I’ve acted on stage in movies and tv. Painting and karaoke are my therapy. Much love is my way. I spread the fire of life from a torch within, and the creative souls who carry the fire to light along with me are the way for the world to be whole again. Here’s to you and the gifts you bring.
