I received a BA in interdisciplinary Art / Education from Centenary College in 1999. I taught art at Woodlawn high school and several other subjects at other regional schools before moving to Natchitoches to pursue an MA in sculpture and ceramics from Northwestern State University. After earning an MA in 2005 I spent the next few years teaching art at NSU. I completed a Plus 30 in sculpture and ceramics from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches Texas in 2008. Currently, I teach visual arts in the Talented Arts Program for Bossier Parish Schools. I enjoy the craft of making pottery and of woodworking and at times incorporate both into my art.
