Julia's work promotes equality, encourages vocalization and explores the human psyche. She is passionate about women's rights and making sense of the world through poetry. She has a soft spot for pop culture, astrology and the occult.

Julia Paryas (United States, b. 1992) studied Visual Art at the New Orleans Center for Creative Art from 2008-2010. She received a BFA in Visual Art and English Writing from Loyola University New Orleans in 2015. She has shown work in group exhibits at Antenna Gallery, Blue Plate Artist Lofts, 5 Press Gallery, Annunciation Hall, the Arts Council of New Orleans, Steve Martin Fine Art, Parse Gallery, UNO St. Claude Gallery, and the Second Story Gallery at the Healing Center. She recently completed an artist residency at The Poodle House in Hudson, NY.
