I was born on the grounds of Oak Alley Plantation, along the River Road in Baytree, La. As a Multi-Media Artist and Southern Tradition Bearer, I always render my Art straight from the heart. With a compelling life-story, my Artwork reflects everything which makes up my wheelhouse. My range is from Traditional Waxed Flower Making which I learned from my Mother, (Albertine), to self-taught Dried Flower Waxing. Adding to my Artist’s Portfolio, I am also a Modern-day Sculptor, Painter, Poet and Creative Writer. I am the inventor a food product known as Pralines-In-A-Jar. Having made exceptional contributions to the Art Community, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to inspire and motivate anyone with a curiosity about Art. As per the Louisiana Folklore Society, I am the only person who was born on the plantation, in the state of Louisiana that is actively practicing the Art of Antique Waxed f\Flowers. I have been recognized by The Louisiana Folklore Society, The Audubon Zoo and The Louisiana Cultural and Heritage Society, The Rougaroo Festival and more, Currently I teach classes on the basics of Waxed Flower-Making, as wellas ARt Classes and I give presentations on the Art of Flower Craft and how it all relates to Coastal Erosion issues. Ultimately, in seeking meaningful purposes for my Art, I have been led to the issues surrounding Coastal Erosion in Louisiana as well as other states of the U.S. My purpose is to use my Visual Art, my Poetry and my Vocal Art to speak out publicly to bring about a greater level of awareeness to the facts about Cioastal Erosion. As a Graduate of Nicholls State University, I have had a diverse career in Law Enforcement which includes local, state and federal levels of intelligence, enforcement and regulation. Currently, I am building my repertoire as a SimulTV TalkShow Host, (THE CONTEMMPORARY CREOLE), Here, I plan to engage with my audience by sharing more Art, Traditions and Genuine Louisiana Love. As a Tradition Bearer, my Artistic Expressions are guaranteed to always be inclusive of reflections of the past.
