Ross Jahnke is a Professor of Art and Head of the Department of Art at Nicholls State University where he teaches printmaking, papermaking, and color theory. He received his BFA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and his MFA from Louisiana State University. He is a printmaker, focusing on a combination of woodcut and silkscreen and is also a painter. His prints have been exhibited throughout the United States, and he has been a visiting artist at numerous universities including Clemson University, Notre Dame University, and Savanna College of Art and Design.
