Established in 2016, Pinup Pixie Boutique is a colorful, bold, and eccentric brand that is all about modern pinup fashion ranging from funky handbags to vintage-style dresses and shoes. Exploring the styles of the 1950s-60s and combining them with modern culture, Jackie creates an unfamiliar yet fun blend of vintage and modern pinup. Jacqueline created the brand for women of color that love the unique glam that pinup and vintage style have to offer. “It’s always hard living in a place where your passions or styles are designed for a demographic that doesn’t look like you,” she says. Understanding what it feels like to be misrepresented and misunderstood throughout her entire life, Jackie wanted to make a change for women of color like her. “I feel like representation is more important now than ever before. This is why I created this brand. Combining my passion for pinup with something so integral to my identity as a Black woman means more to me than anything else,” she says.
