Panorama Jazz Band / Brass Band New Orleans

New Orleans' Genre Fluid Jazz Band The Panorama Jazz Band originally came together as a trio in 1995 to play a New Orleans wedding. Since then, the group has evolved into a seven piece sit-down band as well as their sister marching outfit, the Panorama Brass Band. Panorama's roster includes many of the Crescent City's top players who, after making hundreds of parties together, always find fresh joy in the group's wide-ranging international repertoire. With music from the Caribbean, Latin- America, Eastern Europe and New Orleans, and using traditional "non-plugged" instruments, the vibe shifts constantly between various grooves and sounds always creating moments of contrasting flavors. If not for the COVID pandemic, 2020 would have been Panorama's 21st consecutive year performing at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Other highlights include the Copenhagen Jazz Festival and Fringe Festival, the Istanbul International Jazz Festival, The Veracruz International Jazz Festival, Tønder Festival (DK) as well as U.S. festivals Lotus World Music and Arts Festival (Bloomington, IN) and French Quarter Fest in New Orleans, among others. Panorama's catalog includes eight self-produced CDs as well as an online song-of-the-month club, Good Music For You, (panoramaland.bandcamp.com) which has added a new song every month since May, 2014. Another Hot Night in February (2003) Panoramaland (2005) Come Out Swingin' (2010) 17 Days (Panorama Brass Band, 2011) Dance of the Hot Earth (Panorama Jazz Band LIVE, 2013) Good Music For You (online song-of-the-month club, 2014 - present) Best of the Good (compilation for the Good Music For You series 2016) The Next One (compilation for the Good Music For You series 2017) Let The Music Play You (compilation for the Good Music For You series 2018)
