Paige Noelle Hoffman is a Louisiana native, composer, and flautist. She will be attending her first semester of college in the fall of 2022 as a music composition major.
Early 2020, Paige began studying composition with Dr. Mara Gibson (Associate Professor of Composition, Louisiana State University). Additionally, she has been studying flute performance for the past eight years with Suzanne Buerkle. Currently, she studies piano and music theory with Judy Hicks Drell of Baton Rouge.
In the fall of 2020, Paige was accepted into the Golden Hornet Young Composers program where she worked with Dr. Chía Patiño among other renowned composers and musicians. During her time with this composer laboratory, Hoffman's "The River Dream" for cello and piano had its world premiere on April 18th, 2021.
As a musician, Paige has been apart of the "Epiphany Orchestra" conducted by Dr. Bill Grimes along with members of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. She has also been a member of the Louisiana Youth Orchestra and has performed "The Star Spangled Banner" at multiple Louisiana State University sporting events as well as various community events.
During spring of 2021, Paige became a spokesperson for Kids' Orchestra and their "Play It Forward" Campaign featured on WAFB Channel 9, Baton Rouge. Additionally, her performance of The National Anthem was professionally recorded for WAFB Channel 9 and Gray Television, Inc.
