Artist Statement I like to define my style as “Impact Art" which is a term that was recently given to me by a colleague. I have since then used that term to define my creative process as an introspective expression that mirrors my experiences and perspective while I navigate through life. I produce works that are relevant to societal, political and even sometimes taboo topics. If it moves me, inspires me, hurts me, or simply, "makes me feel my human existence", I do my best to channel it into my work. My artwork is an attempt to start conversations, invoke emotions and make my viewers know that it is okay to think for themselves. I am not limited by any medium. I experiment and discover, whether it is with acrylic paint and canvas, pastel chalk and paper or even 3D works and installations. I believe that I am a vessel that's purpose is to create without barriers. I aim to impact the world.
