I have always been an art lover, and started creating work about 10 years ago. In 2019, I took my first pottery class, and it quickly became a semi-obsession. I love the feel of working with clay, and the many opportunities it offers to express myself. I also am simultaneously humbled and fascinated by the fragility of ceramics. I have thrown many broken pots into the “bucket of knowledge”, also known as the recycle bucket. I am most inspired by the colors, textures and shapes of nature. My first medium was photography, and I work in both digital and film. I have also dabbled with watercolor and acrylic painting.
