I enjoy working in a variety of mediums from 2D art like watercolor and acrylic to 3D pieces typically in clay. My art is often a bit whimsical, featuring influences from Pop Art and Surrealism along with my love of animals, fantasy, and sci-fi. One of my favorite art forms is ceramic sculptures, which I typically finish off with acrylic paint. I've done several series in this style, including life size animal-human hybrid busts, and animal-food hybrids. I don't only work in non functional, I also love creating fully functional pottery on the wheel. Though I often add my own flair, sculpting comical faces on the outside of pieces like my series of cups called 'Mug Mugs', my planters called 'Pot Heads', and even some yarn bowls. Originally from Michigan, I received my Bachelors in Art in 2011 and worked several art jobs on the side, including being hired to lead art programs and workshops at community centers. In 2018 I moved to Houston, TX where I taught High School art for 4 year before eventually moving to Louisiana and focusing on my art full time.
