I’m originally from Shreveport, currently live in Keatchi, in north DeSoto parish. I have moved away and came back a couple times. I’ve been here now since 2011. I came back to take care of my parents and stayed. I have a BFA from Stephen F. Austin University. My art is traditional medium and/or digital medium. The traditional medium pieces are created mostly on canvas or paper and the digital pieces can be giclée prints. Sometimes I combine the traditional with the digital. I paint mostly in acrylics, but I have created pieces using other materials. I get inspiration from music and nature mostly, but sometimes the other parts of the world around me finds its way into my art. I am an intuitive artist in both my traditional and digital work. I like to say it’s a conversation between me and the medium, whatever that may be. Sometimes it’s an argument, but a conversation just the same.
