Amy S. Miller is a multi-discipline artist residing in the city of St. Louis. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1998 with a BFA in Interior Design from William Woods University and is a 2022 graduate of Milan Art Institute’s Mastery Program.
Her artistic practice is informed by principles of evidence-based design, holding her EDAC (Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification) from the Center of Health Design since 2017. She is also an internationally Certified Picture Framer (CPF) by the Professional Picture Framers Association since 2016.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions including juried exhibits at Foundry Art Centre (St. Charles, MO), Art St. Louis Gallery (St. Louis, MO) and Jacoby Arts Center (Alton, IL), the Missouri Arts Now 2021 traveling exhibit celebrating Missouri’s statehood bicentennial and her solo exhibit Verity, at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild (St. Louis, MO).
Her illustrations grace the pages of two childrens’ books as well as her own lines of pun stickers and regionally themed stationery.
Amy is a two-time recipient of Artist Support Grants from the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis. Her influence as a rising public mural artist was recognized with the award of a St. Louis Mural Project Grant, one of only twenty-eight grants funded by ARPA for the Arts with the Regional Arts Commission and City of St. Louis.
Most recently she has been selected for a North Dakota Museum of Art's McCanna House Artist Residency to take place during Summer 2025.
