P. Michael LeBlanc, owner of Blanc Studio, was born and raised in the small rural town of Rayne, Louisiana, the self-proclaimed "Frog capital of the World." Early in his life, Michael realized he had to cultivate creativity in order to stay sane in such a small town. "Rayne natives have to be creative for their entertainment”, he said, "I found my entertainment in drawing, crafting and woodworking." All these interests cumulated into thoughts of a career in the arts, although at the time he did not know specifically what shape it would take. Professionally, his main role was an academic advisor of The Tech Talk student newspaper and SPEAK Magazine of Louisiana Tech University. This role has changed since earning his Master's degree in Mass Communication at Grambling State University. Currently, he is an instructor in the School of Communication at Louisiana Tech University. He is a communication designer, photographer, videographer, maker of things, dad, etcetera, etcetera, Ad nauseam.
