Mikah Thomas, also known by his musical alter ego Slive, is a modern Renaissance man from Shreveport, Louisiana. An accomplished actor, comedian, singer-songwriter, music producer, playwright, and director, Thomas is the Founder and Executive Director of Blank Stage, a nonprofit collective dedicated to empowering diverse voices through creativity, cultural pride, and social change. Thomas’ recent projects include producing, writing, recording, and mixing an original soundtrack titled Underdog, inspired by Suzan-Lori Parks’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play Topdog/Underdog, in which he starred alongside renowned Broadway director Zhailon Levingston. He made his directorial debut in late 2024 with Blank Stage’s production of Zooman & The Sign which he also starred in and for which he produced an original soundtrack. Thomas continues to push creative boundaries and expand his artistic impact.
