Line work is my passion. Exploring the relationship between line and form is the foundation of my practice as an artist. My work delves into the workings of my imagination, and the research I conduct as an art historian.
The most common theme that pervades in my prints is existence in the quiet moments. This may manifest differently depending on the subject, but that is at the core of my work. There is also a pursuit of simplicity. How many lines do I absolutely need to present this feeling? This person? These questions challenge me to push my limits as an artist.
