I have a keen interest in creating portraits with a manga aesthetic. My drawing and painting often encompass the subject with an air of fantasy and surrealism. Coming from an immigrant family, reading Manga was my only entertainment while growing up. It inspired me to start drawing at an early age. I worked as a graphic designer/illustrator in Hong Kong. Later, I pursued fine art studies in Canada before moving to the USA in 2009. 2016, I started teaching at the Talented Art Program in Bossier City. I earned my Master's in art Education from Boston University in 2022. I genuinely enjoy sharing my love of art and years of art-making experience with young talents In my recent art exploration, I focus on pushing the boundaries of simple art mediums while experimenting with natural materials like dry flowers, beeswax, and mica powder.
