Liz Reed is a spunky, whimsical songwriter from central Connecticut. Her folky/bluesy style is a mix of influences like Joni Mitchell, Ani DiFranco and Lucinda Williams. Liz's original songs range from tongue-in-cheek irony to soulful love ballads. Her songs will touch your heart and make you laugh out loud. Her acoustic renditions of pop songs range from Aretha Franklin to Tom Petty and from Poison to Pink. Liz plays guitar, ukulele, piano and is currently hacking away at the fiddle (coming...soon?). She can be seen at venues such as R Dee Winery in Enfield, Groton Farmers' Market, Coventry Farmers' Market and restaurants such as Grill 37 in Pomfret and Parkville Market in Hartford. In her spare time, you might find her throwing a frisbee with her kids, digging her flowerbeds, talking to her cats, or practicing karate.
