I am an award winning New Orleans artist who works in an Impressionist style of realism. I love expressing the Tropical Feel of New Orleans in Oil Paint, painting en Plein Air as well as my studio. I have had work in galleries from Manhattan to Los Angeles and just recently participated in the Shadows on The Teche Plein Air Competition. I have collectors across the world who enjoy the vision that I share of my life and travels. I have painted Still Lifes, Portraits and Landscapes and enjoy all of these, but prefer our beautiful Louisiana Landscapes. I am also and avid gardener and like Monet, love to paint my flowers! I have painted with the Urban Sketchers of New Orleans and am currently working on painting houses in New Orleans! So I am always learning something new and enjoy pushing the envelope! During Covid I have been painting from events online and have painted things that we don't have here like Iceburgs, Waterfalls, The Grand Canyon, a beach in the Netherlands and a Snow Scene! I love the challenges! I love to go to the Caribbean and have painted when I've gone there. After all, we are the Northernmost Island of the Caribbean! And I love it when people relate to what I have painted and want to have that in their home to look at every day! That is the best thing, when people want to own the vision I have shown in paint!
