Since childhood I've been entranced with color, starting with my crayon box. I use that color sense in my work daily. My goal is to make wearable, functional art. For 30 years I've been knitting one of a kind hats and scarves to create that sense of joy that unique, handmade items bring to the wearer. Spinning is my newest love - I've been spinning wool, silk, alpaca, and other luxury fibers into special yarns that I knit into gorgeous accessories, sometimes combining them with fun, frivolous, luxury yarns to create exciting texture and color patterns. My items are super soft, ultra wearable, well made and durable. At the end of each season I find places to donate items so they can warm those who can't afford to buy them.
