Jennelle is an artist of many disciplines.
She grew up as a ballerina who discovered singing and theatre upon entering college, and decided to turn her focus to the stage and hone her craft for music and acting.
Twenty years later, she has performed in a multitude of professional plays and musicals across the region.
Ten years ago, she made her burlesque debut under her stage name, Dixie Denier. It is under this discipline she was has won awards, produced several themes burlesque shows, headlined festivals, and is part of a local troupe.
Jennelle has embraced being a professional emcee since 2017, and has hosted several prolific fundraising events in the region, as well as burlesque shows and festivals.
Also under her Dixie persona, she has created the “Dixie Ds Canteen” a 1940s WWII era USO variety show. As a WWII reenactor of 13 years, she has painstakingly researched this era of what entertainment looked like for Military troops, and has brought to life an incredible immersive production. There’s no other show like it, and every time it is produced, a sold out audience partakes.
Whether she’s producing or performing, Jennelle has found a home in the St. Louis community through many disciplines, and is always ready to embark on the next exciting opportunity.
