Jeffrey Girard
I make mosaics using 3/8" glass tiles placed on 12" square ceramic tile backboards. For the sake of simplicity, I began by using whole tiles aligned in rows and found that working within these parameters allowed me to produce a wide range of themes and patterns. I try to produce work that has balance, symmetry, and color with original themes that are visually striking.
