Dave is the descendant of working-class, Ecuadorian farmers and professionals. He is also a proud, queer child of immigrants. Born in New Haven and attending Wilbur Cross High School, he is humbled to work as a cultural practitioner specializing in revolutionary education through liberatory pedagogy, a community organizer at large, and a socialist student representative on the New Haven Board of Education. Dave is motivated by great feelings of love for his labor and the people he lives alongside with and works for. His experiences as a latinx, queer, and working-class young person informs all the work they do.
