Frank Hanson
Hello My name is Frank Hanson. I'm a 45 year old artist with a background in graphic, illustration design. I received a scholarship from the Caddo Career Center for Commercial Art back in 1998. I used that scholarship to go to and graduate from the Art Institute of Dallas. Later in life i graduated from Southern University with a degree in business management. I currently bring over 20 years of refined art background.
Artist Statement: Without the ability to actualize an idea or concept, art would not exist. My work is a constant search for the best way to interpret the ideas that I have about myself and the world I live in. I do not limit myself to one medium, style, or concept. Inspiration and ideas change. Knowledge changes. Each piece I create is simultaneously an extension from the past, where I’ve come from and what I’ve learned, as well as a preview of the future, where I’m going. Many of the traditional painting and illustration methods can be seen in my work. I do not classify myself as a basic artist.
