Lauryn is a glitter and body tape artist born and raised in Louisiana. She combines her tape techniques with her love of glitter, rhinestones and anything that sparkles to create custom designed outfits for you to wear. Her services include everything from rave/performance wear, live taping performances, and festival/night club pop ups. Initially she started offering braids and glitter at music festivals her friends were DJing as a side hobby. Eventually she was given the incredible opportunity to train under the creator of The Black Tape Project, Joel Alvarez. Ever since she was a child, she loved to embellish anything from clothing to furniture to give it a more personalized look. Her main objective through her art is empowering women and making them feel beautiful in their skin. She loves having the ability to help women see themselves in a different light than they usually do. Taping at numerous events around the world, Lauryn began a journey to make a name for herself in the body taping industry. She has taped at Paradise Challenge events in both Negril, Jamaica and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She has also been hosted at We are One Model event in Los Angeles, California, as well as numerous nightclubs in Dallas, Texas and New Orleans, Louisiana. However, her most proud accomplishment is the fact she was invited to help tape for the Black Tape Project Fashion Show for Miami Swim Week 2021. Lauryn aspires to connect with women all over the world while spreading a body positivity message. She hopes to work with more musical artists and be featured as an artist at bigger music festivals in the future.
