I love creativity in all its forms. I spent over a decade in the Army and Air Force Reserves while earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts and a Masters of Fine Arts. I am working on a doctorate in Leadership Studies, but still enjoy plenty of time to draw, paint, and sculpt. I gravitate towards illustrations of animals and the natural world but also love to explore the imaginary and the fantastic.
Artist Statement: There are fewer places more interesting than the human imagination. Journeys into the unreal allow us to reflect on what is true while expanding it into that which could never be possible. I love exploring the real and the natural both academically and creatively, but equally so I enjoy taking the foundation of reality and using it to build into the fantastic. For me, both fascinate and delight in equal measure and I feel compelled to continue my adventure into worlds real and imagined.
