Hi. I'm Diana and the daughter of an artist, so I grew up with the belief in expressing a personal vision, being unique, and gathering inspiration from my environment. That vision and inspiration translates, for me, mostly through pattern and texture, and I have been expressing myself through quilting, embroidering, and hand-stitching for over 30 years. In fact, I taught myself to quilt using a library book from USL when I was a student, though my work greatly improved when I joined a community of quilters. My favorite quilts are crazy quilts, because they combine quilting and embroidery, and currently I enjoy working with denim from old jeans. Recently I began exploring pattern and texture trough photography and painting. And as my quilting improved when I joined a quilting guild, I find that all my creative endeavors are enhanced by community.
