As a photographer and painter I have the freedom to move between mediums to create bodies of work that reflect my personal experiences. I hold an Master of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in studio art from Louisiana Tech University. Tarot cards of all styles and time periods have become a source of inspiration for my recent body of work. These images possess a contrived unique aesthetic that I find intriguing visually and spiritually. Symbolic elements found within each card image are a profound study into a subjects character and motives. Tarot cards have a mysterious and relevant imagery that reflect archetypes historically and presently. I reinvent these archetypal concepts into images that derive from my personal experiences and interactions.
