I have been a professor for many years and a writer all of my life. My works include an award winning piece, "The Queen of Bon Vivant" from the Writer's Playground in NYC. I am working on my first novel, "Queen of Pas Bon" set in the rural area of Southwest Louisiana where I call home. I am grateful to the Lafayette creative community for their inspiration and support. In Orlando, where I lived for over 30 years, I wrote for the Lifestyle Magazine of Central Florida. My experience of teaching creative writing skills at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL has greatly influenced my writing today.
