My artistic practice resides within my hyphenate existence as a dancer - choreographer - storyteller - arts administrator - teacher - parent - community member. The dances I create and the art I support hopes to inspire people towards their most authentic selves with the belief that inside each personal truth is a universal narrative that can catalyze human connection and inspire social change. Collaboration is at the heart of my creative process knowing that the arts are a primal link between people, communities, and experiences. Whether I am collaborating with a poet, a chef, a visual artist, a musician, an architect, or a neighborhood, the choreographic conversation across disciplines and the excitement of making something from nothing is one of my favorite thrill rides!
