Charity Boutte believes we all have an artist inside us. She enjoys creating visual art whether that is simply putting paint to paper, bringing colors together to create a beautiful composition, or releasing the magic that exists within art when we share our talent. Charity loves to create abstract expressionist, folk, and culturally inspired visual art. She is greatly inspired by her South Louisiana roots and Creole culture. Charity earned an M.A. in American Studies from The University of Texas and B.S. in Business Administration from FAMU. In her free time, she enjoys visiting her family in New Iberia, painting, yoga, travel, her beagles, and frequenting New Orleans restaurants with her fiancé.
