I was born and raised in Shreveport, I attended and graduated from Bethune Junior/Senior High School. I was always interested in art and wanted to be a commercial artist, but after I graduated from high school, I enlisted into the U.S Air Force in 1965, while in the military I doddled a bit but didn't get serious about art.
One day I bought a little kodak camera and started taking pictures and from there, I graduated to a 35mm camera and started taking photos as a hobby. After my discharge from the military, started taking a correspondence course with Time/Life, and later enrolled at Laney College in Oakland, CA. to study commercial photograpy and I have been involved in photography since 1970. My work is more of an editorial style of photography where anything I find interesting to photograph, I try to get it.
