Burnhole is a genre-bending, genderqueer project started by Colin Anderson(they/she)(lead vocals, bass, songwriter) and Violet Falkowski(she/they)(vocals, guitar) in November of 2018. Releasing their debut album "DUMY" in January 2021, the band strives to carve out a unique place amongst queer artists like David Bowie, MUNA, and SOPHIE, just to name a few. With simple instrumentation and harmonies to die for, Burnhole could be mistaken for a modern-day, t-girl Simon and Garfunkel. Whether hearing them live, listening at home, or blaring their music from the car speakers (our personal go-to), Burnhole commands listeners to think a little deeper about who they are, in hopes that everyone, queer, trans, cis, or straight, can understand a little more about themselves and, more importantly, understand the people who don't fall into the binaries.
