Brandon Armstrong

Brandon Armstrong was born in Shreveport Louisiana in 1998. He loved to escape poverty by diving into dictionaries and encyclopedias. With every page turned, his appreciation for the power of words would grow. In his senior year of highschool he would win La Film prize jr. After, he would attend Centenary College of Louisiana and graduate with a Theatre Arts degree. He goes on to become a top 50 finalist in the Eugene O'Neill Playwrights Conference in 2024. Now, he writes poetry because its far easier than writing scripts.

Artist Statement: Like any writer, I write whats on my heart. Sometimes its fun, others, not so fun. Most of the time however, my poems are commentaries on the human condition. Every so often, without trying, I write something deeply personal. Those are my favorites.
