Andy Bower lives at the nexus of the music education field and the professional music industry. As a GRAMMY-nominated music educator, he has worked with students from Pre-K through college in instrumental and general music since 2010. He has presented at the Midwest Clinic, National Association for Music Education, and Association for Popular Music Education conferences, as well as several colleges and universities nationwide. Andy was recently featured as a curriculum writer on Berklee PULSE’s Take Me To the River project, and co-authored an article on Arts Integration for the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
In addition to his work as an educator, Andy is active as a performer, arranger, and producer throughout the gulf south and his home state of Pennsylvania. You can find Andy performing at festivals and clubs throughout the greater New Orleans area, sharing his joy for music with anyone and everyone. He arranged and produced The Songwriter Collaboration, a collaborative album featuring 5 New Orleans artists, in 2022, and has written arrangements for groups of all genres and sizes. As a “jack of all trades” in the music world, Andy loves any opportunity to make great music with great people.
