We are seven New Orleans based artists of color who, over the last three years, have formed a collective to engage in a true collaborative creative ethos in the service of hosting events that respond directly to community needs and desires. Our invite only celebrations held at Cafe Istanbul invoke the zodiac as inspiration for our aesthetic, musical, and creative choices and draw over 700 partygoers monthly. Previous partnerships include hosting the official Essence Fest after party with Ace Hotel, co-producing a panel discussion featuring Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib with the New Orleans African American Museum, and collaborations with countless other local, national, and international artists, vendors, entrepreneurs, tarot readers, and community organizations.
